Email marketing is an easy and inexpensive way to promote your business in today's highly-tech world. Email marketing is a great way for any business to reach thousands of customers, regardless of whether you're selling a particular service or a product line.
Online businesses have three main types of email marketing plans available to them today:
Newsletter Marketing
It is true. Almost everyone has their newsletter. There are many newsletters for everyone, from dentists, chiropractors, dog groomers, hospitals, senior advocates, and toy makers.
E-newsletter marketing can be a great way to promote your service or business online. It provides valuable information to customers in an easy to read format that also highlights your business. Newsletters are more likely to be read than other email marketing methods, which can lead to recipients deleting them before they even look at the message dentist email lists .

Bulk E-Mail Marketing
One of the least favorite (and less successful), methods of online advertising/marketing is the bulk email. It is a cheap way to reach thousands potential customers. However, bulk email can look so much like SPAM that many recipients might opt to delete it without even reading it.
It's fine to send bulk messages to an emailing list you have thoroughly researched and received permission to use. Bulk-mailing, however, uses pre-purchased email lists to contact recipients blindly with messages that are more "advertising” than information. This tactic should be avoided. This tactic can damage your credibility with recipients who might otherwise be interested in your business offerings.
Opt-In Email Marketing
Opt-in marketing works in the same way as bulk emailing, in that messages are sent out to large groups of recipients. However, opt-in is different because it uses a carefully compiled list of email addresses. Your company has taken the time to verify that each recipient is interested and has approved its delivery. Most e-commerce companies use opt-in email marketing to send out important announcements, updates and specials.
Opt-in email marketing is a great way to get the word out, whether you're an online retailer sending weekly discounts to customers or a company trying to inform clients about upcoming seminars. It works faster and easier than traditional marketing tools. It is important to have a strong client base with which you can stay in touch. Let them then pass on valuable information to potential clients through a more high-tech "word of mouth."
